I typically see adolescents and adults who are struggling with mental health issues such as Major Depressive Disorder, Anger Management, a Trauma History or Disorders, and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. The majority of clients who come to see me report they feel welcomed and accepted. They feel like they have found a therapist who listens and validates their struggles. I help others move forward in their life by validating, offering, and providing new tools to help manage their mental health struggles.
I have over a decade of experience working in the mental health field. My approach to treatment is based around Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I offer help through challenging uncomfortable thoughts and feelings while providing new techniques to decrease unwanted behaviors. I am also trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and use those skills to assist extreme mood swings and flashbacks. My approach provides relief through expressing and validating distressing emotions.
It can be difficult to reach out for help. I want to know your struggles and understand where you have been. Therapy is a safe place of no judgement to unpack all those burdens.
