Gayle J. Lewis

M.A.T., MSW, LSW

I am a Licensed Social Worker. My deepest passion is to help people heal from past experiences that have hindered growth and help lead them into a sense of well-being in the present.  I do this by taking a person-centered approach, listening with empathy and unconditional positive regard, while focusing on my client’s strengths and desires, as a pathway towards healing and growth.

I specialize in supporting children with the challenges associated with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, foster care placement, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, emotion regulation, suicidal ideation, anger management, relationships and academics.  In addition, with my background as a Licensed Dietitian and my continued passion for physical and mental health, I have helped adult clients address some of the psychosocial aspects of weight loss including habit formation, mindfulness, cognitive restructuring, and stress-management.  Whatever your current family challenges are, I look forward to partnering with you as you take steps towards discovery, healing, and growth.

Some of the counseling modalities I utilize include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, Meditation, Mindfulness, Yoga, Solution-Focused Therapy, Self-Compassion, Aspects of Life Coaching, and Play Therapy.  It is my honor to partner with you as you seek a pathway toward mental wellness.
