Emily M. Young

MSW, LSW

I have experience working with a wide variety of age groups and a diverse population of people. I specialize in working with teens, adults, and families, treating anxiety, life adjustments, chronic illness, problems at school and life transitions. I mainly work with CBT but also incorporate play therapy, strengths-based approaches, and mindfulness.

I work with teens with disabilities and have experience in addiction. I also specialize in working with people with medical trauma and other traumas.

I hope to create a therapeutic relationship with people based on communication, trust, and compassion; I want to support you in your journey towards your goals!
